The present Social Science Division started operating in the year 1966 as Division of Agronomy and Social Sciences to carry out the research on forage based socio-economic and extension aspects of forage production system. Keeping in view, scientists of this division are engaged in the research on various stakeholders and transfer of technology related to forage production and grassland management.
